Designed by Italian designer Antonio Basile, she displays a decidedly gutsy attitude with her clean lines and generous proportions. Crafted from Solid oak or walnut legs, the bent plywood core and face veneered seat & backrest are inviting and comfortable. As a study in constrasts—the grained texture varies on each component of the chair—the inherent beauty of the wood gets a full workout. Rail is surprisingly light because of its bent plywood shell construction. But our favourite feature is that Rail stacks, making it an ideal choice for home, office or even restaurant use.
